1:50 scale Hitachi ZX350-7G Tracked excavator.
The first scale models of the new Hitachi 7G series have now appeared, including this ZX350 in 1:50th scale which has been manufactured by Replicars. As with its smaller brother, the body has crisp surface engraving of the cooling grills and raised upper engine cover which is fixed in place. Anti-slip panels on the upper deck are highlighted and there is a metal safety railing opposite the cabin, with the slewing motor detailing and raised plastic hydraulic lines looking good. The cabin door opens 90 degrees, typical of a Replicars model to allow more of the fully replicated interior to be seen. Safety mirrors are included in the box and need fitting, clipping into place on the metal grab rails. The toothed bucket can be detached by removing the bolts, and all pin heads and cylinder rod ends have been painted for realism.
